Weighing just below a tonne, and with an acceleration that gets it from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, Abarth's new 695 Bioposto is the world's smallest super car.
How can this be so? The racing-car producer Abarth (who is owned by the Fiat Chrysler group), with the help of Transmission Specialists Bacci Romano, have included a race-style H-pattern gearbox complete with dog rings. This transmission gives allows the driver to access the punchy a 1.4 litre T-Jet engine, which in turn produces an output of 140 kilowatts.
The 695 Bioposto will be priced at $65,000 and is available for pre-order from Fiat dealers Australia-wide. What an interesting little vehicle, can't wait to drive it.
