The glitterati flocked to Gucci's Melbourne Collins Street store on Thursday evening to catch of glimpse of the exclusive in-store installation. The Alessandro Michele designed installation was an Australian first, showcasing an imaginary universe of flora and fauna that find themselves adorning the brand's new designs. The display included a selection of the iconic motifs including giant butterflies, birds, ladybirds, bumblebees, tigers and snakes.
An event that nailed the celebrity factor, Gucci adorned guests included model Bambi Northwood-Blyth and husband Dan Single, Tessa James, Olympia Valance, Nikki Phillips and fashion blogger Romy Frydman to name a few.
The installation will be in the Melbourne Collins Street store until the 6th November before heading to the Sydney Westfield store and ending in the Gold Coast Pacific Fair store in the coming weeks.
