When I was in Melbourne last week i couldn't help but think of the fantastic options this cultural city has to eat, drink and relax. It dominates the dining scene and it's cafe culture is second to none. Here I take you through my favourite spots, which hopefully you will enjoy as much as I do.
The Meatball And Wine Company is a small bar hidden along Flinders Lane with the perfect food for a small snack or just casual drink accompanied by great music. If you do make it there, I would highly recommend the Beef Meatballs with Mash.

A fantastic location with easy access to high-end shopping including Chanel, Louis Vuitton & Prada being just seconds outside, which is perfect for your missus. The luxury hotel is also only a 5 minute stroll to David Jones, Myer and a tonne of other high-quality restaurants and eateries. The hotel has great amenities including a huge gym, swimming pool and spa. Make sure you opt for the club lounge access which will allow you a quick check in, free breakfast & free alcoholic drinks from 6-8pm.

The most impressive shop I walked into while I was in Melbourne was actually a barber. Stocking pretty much all of the best grooming brands you could ask for along with fantastic knowledge from all their staff. If you're in town, head down for a traditional shave and cut, and maybe a few other grooming goodies.

This newly opened bar in Richmond has become a go-to for me each time I visit Melbourne. Everything from a phenomenal wine list and delicious food to the finishings of the bar designed by Hecker Guthrie this place is truly a must visit while you're in Melbourne.
Most of you will have never heard of this place but you should try and get yourself in with a member when you're next in Melbourne. Candela Nuevo is situated on level 12 on Queen Street and is a limited private members club where you can enjoy great drinks, food and cigars on the rooftop over looking Melbourne.
