Another year has come and gone and our favourite fashion trade show, Pitti Uomo did not disappoint. There was plenty of colour, an overload of accessories and the peacocks were in the full force. This bi-annual fashion fair continues to reinforce our understanding that Italians really are the best when it comes to fashion.
We ended the week with the Peroni cocktail event, which was held on the fabulous Hotel Continentale rooftop terrace - 'La Terrazza' which overlooks the world-famous Ponte Vecchio. Hosting VIP's, media and style influencers, guests watched the sun set and indulged in Italian fare by Michelin starred restaurant Borgo San Jacopo which included lemon infused risotto and new-style aranchini filled with pear and cheese. London's 'House of Peroni' master mixologist, Federico Riezzo impressed guests with an exclusive tasting of the 'Peroni Infusion' cocktails. Offering the Peroni Spritz and Peroni E Limoni, Federico brought the cocktails to life with a striking blend of Italy's number one premium beer and a mixture of classic cocktail flavours.
I assure you, the food and drink were as good as the clothing worn by the guests!
Guests included Jenny Walton, street style star and Fashion Director of The Sartorialist, Vogue Italia's Sara Maino, renowned fashion creative director Lee Oliveira and Swiss street-style photographer Yvan Rodic from FaceHunter. The event brought together the best in men's lifestyle and fashion to celebrate Italian style.
