There is no denying it that, Montblanc are now major players in the watch market. I would even argue one of the best entry level watches.
We took three watches under $10,000 to have a look at them on our wrist and was surprised at how great they were. My favourite being the Heritage Spirit Moonphase a classic watch that pairs perfectly with a suit.
Montblanc Heritage Chronometrie Quantième Complet $7000
Displaying full calendar data including the date, day of the week, month and moon phase on a silvery white dial with sunburst pattern, the Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie Quantième Complet combines essential calendar functionality with the codes of fine Swiss watchmaking in every detail.
The Montblanc Heritage Spirit Moonphase $5400
manifests the values of the Montblanc Meisterstück and embodies the finest Swiss watchmaking codes: pure elegance, bombé dial with sunburst finish, applied indexes, faceted hands in the classical dauphine shape and differentiated polished and satin surface finishes on the case. With its classical and timeless interpretation of the moon phase and date, the watch exudes a strong and sophisticated presence on the wrist.
The Montblanc Star Traditional Chronograph Automatic $3750
"Carpe Diem Edition" incorporates the thought of the famous poem "Ode to Leuconae" from the classical Roman poet Horaz: "Carpe Diem" which means "Seize the day". The preciousness of every moment is highlighted by the red gold-plated Roman numerals and hands of this chronograph timepiece. The two large subdials for the 30-minute and 12-hour counters highlight the vertical axis, which runs on seamlessly into the wristband. In contrast, the small-seconds dial at 9 o'clock, with its delicate fifteen-second markers, is the soul of discretion. The blue chronograph hand, with its perforated Montblanc emblem as a counterweight, rotates above the ensemble while a silver hand with its red arrowhead indicates a second time zone on the 24h-scale on the external part of the dial.
